As a Cook, you’ll be responsible for preparing, cooking, and plating quality food items according to recipes and service standards. You’ll work closely with the culinary team to ensure meals are served efficiently, safely, and on time.

As a Cook, you’ll be responsible for preparing, cooking, and plating quality food items according to recipes and service standards. You’ll work closely with the culinary team to ensure meals are served efficiently, safely, and on time.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare, season, and cook a variety of menu items including hot entrees, grilled foods, and salads.
- Execute batch cooking for large groups as well as a-la-carte service during peak meal periods.
- Maintain accurate portion control and presentation standards.
- Follow food safety, sanitation, and kitchen cleanliness guidelines (ServSafe preferred).
- Assist with receiving, rotating, and storing food and supplies properly.
- Set up, stock, and break down workstations daily.
- Work as part of a team to ensure smooth kitchen operations and timely service.
- Support catering or special event meal prep as needed.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 1 year of cooking experience in a high-volume kitchen (school, hospital, or corporate dining preferred).
- Strong knowledge of commercial kitchen equipment including grills, fryers, and ovens.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and remain organized during busy service periods.
- Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Commitment to food quality, cleanliness, and safety.
- Team player with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
