Maintenance Technician – Job Summary.

The Maintenance Technician plays a critical role in ensuring the reliable operation of soft trim lamination equipment, injection molding machines, auxiliary equipment, and facility systems—particularly during plant startup and ramp-up to full production. This position requires a dependable, motivated professional with strong industrial maintenance experience, excellent troubleshooting skills, and a positive, team-oriented attitude.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on injection molding machines, robots, and supporting equipment to ensure consistent production readiness.
  • Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, and electrical systems to minimize downtime.
  • Set up, align, and calibrate molds to support efficient production launches.
  • Maintain building systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and hydraulic components.
  • Schedule and complete routine maintenance tasks.
  • Order, track, and manage spare parts inventory in coordination with the procurement department.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed maintenance records.
  • Collaborate with production teams to optimize equipment performance and support continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with safety and environmental standards.
  • Demonstrate reliability, commitment, and a strong work ethic in all maintenance activities.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Technical diploma or equivalent hands-on industrial maintenance experience.
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience maintaining injection molding equipment in a manufacturing environment.
  • 2–3 years’ experience as a maintenance, electronics, or robotics technician.
  • Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
  • Working knowledge of PLCs, hydraulics, robotics, electrical, pneumatic, mechanical systems, HVAC, and plumbing.
  • Ability to work with electrical systems ranging from 12VDC to 480VAC three-phase.
  • Proven problem-solving skills and the ability to learn new processes quickly.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Willingness to work overtime and weekends as needed.
  • Must be punctual and dependable.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States.
  • Positive attitude and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
