The Molding Technician will operate and monitor molding machines, ensure product quality, and maintain efficient production flow. This is a hands-on role requiring attention to detail, consistency, and the ability to work in a team-oriented setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate plastic injection molding machines and auxiliary equipment.
- Perform basic machine start-up, shut-down, and monitoring functions.
- Inspect molded parts for quality, defects, and consistency.
- Trim, assemble, and package finished products as required.
- Follow work instructions, quality standards, and production schedules.
- Maintain accurate production counts and documentation.
- Keep work area clean, organized, and safe (5S standards).
- Report equipment issues, defects, or downtime to supervisors.
- Support changeovers and material handling as needed.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Previous manufacturing or machine operation experience is a plus, but not required.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and quality standards.
- Basic mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn.
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.
- Ability to work in a team environment and follow instructions.
