Overview:
The Machine Operator is responsible for operating and monitoring plastic injection molding and automated soft-trim equipment in a modern automotive manufacturing facility. This role ensures machines run safely and efficiently while producing high-quality automotive interior parts.

Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and monitor injection molding machines.
- Remove finished parts and perform trimming or secondary operations.
- Conduct visual and basic dimensional inspections using gauges or calipers.
- Perform machine start-ups, shutdowns, and basic cleaning.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation (5S standards).
- Follow all safety procedures, PPE, and quality standards.
- Report equipment or quality issues to supervisors.
- Support production goals and assist maintenance when needed.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Strong attention to detail and reliable attendance.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Experience in manufacturing or injection molding preferred but not required.
- Mechanical aptitude and ability to use measuring tools is a plus.
Work Environment:
Fast-paced manufacturing environment with robotic and molding equipment. Work may involve standing, repetitive motion, moderate noise, and heat.
