About the Job
A Tapper / Machine Operator to support high-volume production in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This is a hands-on role ideal for candidates with experience in metal fabrication, threading, or secondary operations.

Key Responsibilities:
- Operate tapping machines and secondary equipment to produce threaded components to specification.
- Perform setups, tool changes, and minor machine adjustments as needed.
- Read and interpret blueprints, work instructions, and job travelers.
- Inspect parts using calipers, gauges, and measuring tools to ensure quality standards are met.
- Maintain production efficiency and throughput while minimizing scrap.
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of tapping equipment.
- Follow all quality procedures, ISO standards, and safety guidelines.
- Accurately complete production and quality documentation.
- Support team members and communicate effectively with supervisors and quality personnel.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Tapper, Machine Operator, CNC Operator, or Production Technician.
- Strong understanding of metal parts, threading processes, and machining operations.
- Ability to use precision measuring instruments (micrometers, calipers, gauges).
- Experience working in an automotive or manufacturing environment preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety.
- Ability to stand, lift, and work in a production setting.
Environment is hot.
Can wear shorts/t-shirts.
On feet for all shift.
Safety glasses required.
