- Read and interpret blueprints, GD&T, and technical drawings.
- Use precision measuring tools (micrometers, calipers, height gauges).
- Perform basic troubleshooting and minor machine adjustments.
- Maintain consistent part quality and production output.
- Complete inspection reports and production documentation.
- Assist with basic setup and process adjustments as needed.
- Follow all safety and manufacturing procedures.
Required Qualifications:
- 2+ years of CNC lathe experience (Fanuc controls required).
- Ability to hold tight tolerances (±0.001) consistently.
- Hands-on experience with:
- Offsets and tool wear adjustments.
- Tool changes.
- Blueprint reading .
- Precision measuring tools.
- Strong understanding of machining processes — not just loading parts.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Preferred Experience:
- Experience working in high-volume, tight-tolerance environments.
- Exposure to M-codes and minor program adjustments.
- Experience supporting setups or changeovers.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift/push/pull up to 30 lbs.
- Comfortable handling small precision parts.
- Able to work in a manufacturing environment.
